Be inspired by children Karen Panaretto, is the owner and designer of Tkxi Surf swimwear. Karen lives in Balmoral, Sydney with her husband Tony and 2 children Oscar 13 and Sylvie 8. Passionate about the Aussie lifestyle after spending years living in New York, London and Hong Kong. Initially the collection was launched due to the lack of cool swimwear for boys, and having a son who spent every moment in some “superhero” outfit. Karen wanted to let her son enjoy his adventures while still being protected from the sun, plus a ten year working background at Seafolly made this dream a reality. Summer 2010 is the 5th year of Tkxi Surf. The success of the brand is the mix of bold colours, funky prints that kids love to wear and a great fit enables kids to be happy playing for hours. Impressing parents with the durability and sun protection rating of SPF 50. Designed and made in Australia. Now 5 years on my biggest critic and inspiration is my daughter.
